Alessandro joined Abel + Imray in 2022 and is based in the Bath office.
During the course of his undergraduate degree, Alessandro gained a strong foundation in all aspects of biochemistry with a special interest in structural and medicinal biochemistry. His final year project comprised investigations into the structure of a family of Botox proteins of commercial interest. He also conducted two summer placements at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
His MSc in Health Data Science provided a foundation in data science and its specific application in the field of healthcare data. He completed a Master’s dissertation project involving the use of neural networks to predict seasonal workload at a primary care practice in the UK.
Alessandro also undertook an industrial placement at the Walt Disney corporation.
