Alice joined the profession in 1997, and joined Abel + Imray in 2018. She is based in our London office. Alice is a member of the Life Sciences Committee of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys. She is also a Justice of the Peace, and sits regularly as a magistrate in her local justice area.
Alice represents clients operating in a range of different technical fields including pharmaceuticals, molecular biology, biotechnology, medical methods and devices, drug formulations, drug delivery, analytical techniques and proteomics. She has experience in:
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the UK and European Patent Offices and all major countries.
- Managing patent portfolios.
Advisory work relating to the validity and infringement of patents.
Prosecuting and defending opposition and revocation actions and appeals before the European Patent Office and elsewhere.
