Neil has extensive experience in electronics,
computer systems design and architecture, battery technology, databases, software and hardware, semiconductors, virtual and augmented reality systems, sensors, medtech, and mobile and
fixed telecommunications. He has specialist knowledge of signal
processing, including audio, image and graphics processing.
Neil has particular interest in patenting energy
technologies. His experience within the energy technologies sector
includes wireless battery charging, operating and performance monitoring systems and software, wind turbines, solar thermal and photovoltaic panels, wave power
generation, renewable energy generation scheduling and low-power digital signal
processing.
Prior to joining the patent
profession, Neil worked as a system design engineer for a large European space
company.
