Sofia joined Abel + Imray in 2022 and has extensive knowledge and experience of trade mark matters including complex oppositions and other contentious proceedings, settlement negotiations, and handling multi-national portfolios for clients in the UK, Europe and key global jurisdictions including Japan. Prior to joining us, Sofia had spent 25 years as a trade mark attorney with another respected UK/European IP firm where she had held a partnership position.
Sofia has visited Japan numerous times, and given lectures there on European trade mark law. She is fluent in Spanish and French.
