Vita joined Abel + Imray in 2024 as a member of our trade mark team, and is based in our London Office.
During her undergraduate degree, Vita studied disciplines including stem cell and tissue engineering, disease, ageing, microscopy, and conservation. She produced numerous literature reviews exploring these fields.
For her master’s year, Vita delved into the commercial aspects of Biosciences. Her thesis explored the intersection between intellectual property and conservation, integrating patent data (as a measure of commercialisation) with conservation data. This aimed to pre-emptively identify commercially driven threats to naturally occurring psychoactive species. Ultimately, it served to guide proactive conservation measures and inform legislative efforts.
